  1. It's always interesting to see what attracts various butterflies in gardens across the country. Phlox is not one of the most visited in my garden, but I've seen swallowtails on them.

    Today I saw both a Spicebush Swallowtail and a Gulf Fritillary visiting something the dog left. I was glad not to have a camera in my hand.

  2. My photos of the Spicebush Swallowtail are blurry. He kept fluttering his wings and then would move to another bloom. My lantana seems to be a favorite.
